Assistance with the opening of a safe deposit box. Available only in San José. Approximate duration: 1–2 hours.
You can deposit up to USD 5,000 per month into personal or business accounts, and some private banks allow up to USD 10,000.
Any amount over USD 10,000 that you wish to transfer to your personal or business account must be supported by proof of the source of funds.
Examples include the sale of a house, sale of stocks, sale of a company, life insurance, etc.
All documents must be individually apostilled.
